Requirements for the production of works with panels

 

 

Fastening of sandwich panels to the supporting structures, sealing of joints and junctions must be performed in accordance with the project. When installing the wall panels (till the installation of roof panels) panels should be covered with waterproofing material.

Panel overloading must be mechanized. It is not permitted to unload and move panels manually.

Shots on panels during installation, the installation of fasteners, sealing of joints and junctions are not allowed.

It is not allowed to walk on roofing panels. They are suitable for temporal walking on specially laid wooden ladders. Ladders must be laid at right angles to the structural spans of sandwich panels. It is recommended to post information on all exit points of the roof that will notify the staff about the rules. The panels can not be used as a working platform.

Various equipment, such as refrigeration, air ducts etc., should not be attached to the panels, and suspension constructions. Personnel should not assemble in groups of more than two people on one panel, especially near doorways. 

Drilling holes in the panels for inserting fasteners should be done with the help of power tools.

Panel mount ladders, industrial partitions, equipment and fixtures are unacceptable.

The surface of the panels should be cleaned out of dirt and dust using compressed air or cleaning agents that do not cause damage to the protective coating of metal. The usage of sand, alkalis, acids - is unacceptable.

 

 

Installation of roof panels


First, the panel can be locked with a single connector to the ridge purlin and then to other purlins (except roof ridge runs). Outer panels are fastened to structures (run) with three self-drilling connectors at the top of trapezoidal panels. Central panels are attached to the structure (run) with two connectors. To ensure the tightness of the joint panel, it is preferable to use an additional connector. To install the connector it is recommended to use a universal screwdriver. Due to the different loads in these areas and outer corners the final amount of connectors is determined directly by the engineer of the project.
