Sandwich panels are finished building materials consisting of two profiled sheet cladding and insulation of expanded polystyrene, polyurethane or mineral wool. This type of insulation has a fire-resistant and insulating panels attached and heat-saving properties, and also technicality, lightness and high resistance. The number of mineral insulation is calculated depending on the weather conditions of the region. For cladding of wall sandwich panels, mostly steel or aluminum profiled sheets are used with a thickness of 0.5-0.7 mm, uncoated or coated with various polymer coatings: polyester, PVDF, Plastisol, laminate, pural. There are also panels with combined finishes like metal and wood, plasterboard, particleboard, fiberboard, plywood, plastic, aluzink, foil or steklomagnezit. The size of sandwich panels can be from 1.8 to 15 meters in length, with a standard width of 100-119 cm and a width of 50 to 250 mm.

- environmental friendliness (no harmful to humans and the environment of substances);

High thermal insulation properties
Insulating ability of sandwich panels allows a certain amount of time to reduce the thickness of the envelope and internal baffles in the construction of various facilities, which leads to an increase in living space and cost savings.
The total moisture content of the air condensed in the interior of the filler is less than 0.5% at a relative humidity of 40-65%. This provides a high thermal insulation properties of panels at different climatic conditions. Additional protection against moisture and air is the presence of a sealing material in panels.
With the passage of sound through the sandwich panel there is a significant reduction in the level of airborne noise due to:
- soundproofing - the reflection of sound waves that affect the surface of the building envelope;
- Sound absorption - the absorption of sound in the panel due to the conversion of sound energy into heat.
Protecting constructions made of wall and roof sandwich panels are fire-resistant. Insulation flammability is classified as non-combustible building material. According to the spread of fire protecting constructions belong to the group of not extending the fire. An indication of fire is the fire resistance limit, which is determined by the time (in minutes) from the beginning of the standard fire test temperature mode until one of the limit states of construction: the loss of bearing capacity (R); integrity loss (E), loss of insulating capacity (I).
Mechanical and chemical resistance
Sandwich panels withstand high compressive forces, have high shear strength, isolation plating, which is confirmed by constantly testing conducted on finished samples. The panels also have a high refractive resistance to a wide range of chemicals, oils and solvents.

Load bearing capacity
Bearing capacity of sandwich panels is determined by computational methods and confirmed by a series of experimental mechanical tests. The static evaluation is carried out taking into account the characteristic data of basalt mineral wool core component of the panels. The results are regularly monitored during production. When calculating there is accepted condition that insulation facilitates should be tightly adhered to the outer metal-faced coverings to contribute the distribution of stresses on the perceived stress, thereby causing the panel to work as a unit. Installation of wall panels is a quick and easy construction process. It is possible in all weather conditions; wall sandwich panels are not exposed to moisture, the sun and other influences. Installation doesn't require engagement of a large construction and transportation equipment, as well as great number of workers. Due to its low weight, the installation of the sandwich panel to the right, even the two builders. After installing the wall sandwich panels there is no need of additional treatment, as it already has a variety of coatings in various colors: color palette, metal, wood, plastic.

Sandwich panels with polystyrene are an ideal material for building production halls and warehouses, factories for the production and processing of food pavilions, shops and service facilities, cold stores, garage doors, vans, interior walls of office and etc.
For transportation of sandwich panels can be used only technically suitable transport, with a service platform that enables loading from above, (it does not apply to panels with mineral wool).
Loading area must be clean. The surface of the walls and the foundation should not contain protruding nails and other sharp items. Protruding elements must be trimmed so as to avoid damage to the panel. The length of the vehicle (loading platform) must be so that the laggage can be placed over the entire length of the vehicle. It is possoble to leave the laggage extend beyond the cargo bed not more than 1.5 m.
For laggages of 16 ÷ 21 m cargo carrier must obtain a special permit to transport and protect the protruding ends of the panels from flexing by supporting vehicle. In this case the platforms of both surface must be level.
For road transport, the maximum permitted storage of packages in two tiers (it does not concern to the stainless steel sheets, which are not to be stored on other packages).
Taking into account the state of the roads, drivers are required (every 100 km) to check periodically the reliability of fastening of cargo (packet) and, if necessary, correct fastening.
The recommended width of the loading area is about 2500 mm and a maximum speed of transportation of panels is 70 km / h.
Vehicle transporting the panel sshould be equipped with transport belts designed to protect the load on the loading platform. Number of belts depends on the length of the panels, the distance between the belts should be ~ 2 m, it is equipped with 2 sets of flat cables for discharge, a length of ~ 6 m and a capacity of 5 tons. Profiles that are transported together with panels should be mounted individually (individual belts), regardless of packet panels.
Before lifting a package of sandwich panels the technical condition of the package should be checked.

Unloading of packages should be done by a bridge crane using a crossbeam and a loop device, a 4-line with flat cables and lugs of ~ 6 m length.
The panels stored at the exposed surface should be carefully protected from rain, snow, high winds and pollution. For proper protection, use cloth covers. (Do not use synthetic materials). Such material provides rapid removal of accumulated moisture. It should be strictly avoided accumulation of moisture between the panels, as in the absence of ventilation for a long time, it can damage to the panels. To avoid fingerprints and dents on panels' sheathing it is not permitted warehousing panels on a building area.
The base on which panels will be then installed must be flat and reinforced so as not to cause permanent damage to the panels. Partially unpacked packages should always be protected from rain and strong wind.
